All Wired Up

French design collective PETITE FRITURE was included in the July/August 2014 issue of Elle Decor’s What’s Hot feature, and what else could I say but ooohh la la.

Ooohh la la.

Established in 2009, Petite  Friture’s main focus is to promote promising young designers, and “develop with them a catalogue of objects, lighting and small furniture that creates a vibration.”  Their team of talents’ expertise include interior design, product design and art direction.

Their latest project was designing power-coated steel indoor and outdoor furniture in fun, playful shapes.  The results?  Cool. Brilliant. Simple, but looks uber-fun.

No pun intended, but down to the wire, this has been some of the more amusing and yet accessible statement pieces I’ve seen.

Simply chic.

Non, c’est très chic.
